New member- have a russian tortoise

Hello,

I posted on the help forum, but I am new here.

I am in the NW united states, and I have an adult female (?) Russian tortoise named Corwin. I don't know how old she is. I rescued her 9 mths. ago. and have been learning as I go.

Glad I found a place with other tortoise lovers to post my questions. Right now she is has a spot on her shell I wanted more help with. More details in my other post.

she is an adult. if you post some pics of her tail i can tell you the gender. most russians that are in captivity are wild caught. she is likely wild caught and it impossible to know her age she caught be 10 years old to 100 years old.

I do love her bright yellow. Her beak has got some parroting going on... you can trim it, but usually feeding on a flat rock/slate with control it naturally.

Her tail is also very short, and she's a larger tort, so girly would be a great guess
