I received two babies from shellfreak in the mail yesterday. They're the same size as my three toeds so they will be housed together. Here are some pictures. Enjoy!

This is just before shipment

Here's the whole enclosure. A little too misty to see but you get the point

I love seeing baby box turtles. I'd love to have some, but I'm too afraid of raising them. Since their carnivorous feeding would be so difficult in the winter also my wife would kill me.

Nice boxies!

My concern with substrate that deep is that I'd never find my turtles. :p

I'm sure the turtles don't mind though!

I thought so too but every morning after about an hour with the lights turned on they are all either under hides or under plants. But if I miss that 1-2 hour window I can't find them even if I look for an hour!

Yeah.....Very nice enclosure. They are so small. not much bigger then your thumb nail. How old are they?

Sorry just saw this. They are all coming up on a year in about 2-4 months. They all have different hatch dates. I told him to give me the runts of his group. So I think they'll grow a little slower.

What kind of plants do you have in there? And where did you get them?
