But its all the darker colour (spots) it's getting. Looks like it's something under the shell..

On this pic. Its yellow without the darker underlay.
Or what ever it is..

I see. You are talking about that bruising effect, not the new marbled growth.

That is a new one for me.

You know what that reminds me off? The colour on the first leo torts plastron soon before he died... don't know if it was food or something worse showing through his shell. I'm not saying yours are dying, don't get me wrong! Dark food or blood might shine through thin light coloured shell... might be something like that? Please don't freak out!

The vet said its most likely the shell grown that isn't going to good.. So it's on a high calcium diet right now.. and no dalendions ( it got a few bites the other day as a snack)
And I only had him for around 6 weeks so it's most likely some little problem it's born with or from the first month or 2 before I got it..

So will see what will happen..

I would also get it out in the sunshine a few times a week for 30 minutes or more. Sunshine is great medicine for shells and strength.

They are out every time we have sunshine..
But worst summer ever.. have only rain and cloudy weather.. but they are out when the sun is out..
