The plastron of my 6 month old Sulcata is a little soft. Enough that I can press into it a little bit. Is this bad? If so what can I do to help it?

to save time; I would first include information on lighting; heating levels at different spots of enclosure; housing; diet; soaking routine; and calcium source; so members can make a better evaluation. I would also include your tortoise's size and weight. Young tortoises do have somewhat pliable plastrons; that by your sulcata's age should begin to harden up.

I second Eric's post. If you can get him outside in some good sunshine can help. Be sure to provide shade and water.

My sulcana's basking spot is 95 degrees in a 20 gallon zoo med bearded dragon setup. I feed my tort romaine lettuce, kale, and grass.Keep in mind it just slightly soft, just enough for me to push in it a little bit as Tom mentioned.

I do provide UVB.
What is your UV source? Coil type bulb? Long tube?

Your tortoises diet needs much improvement and much more variety. Please give this a read:

A 20 gallon tank is too small for a baby tortoise, and if the set up was appropriate for a small bearded dragon, then the conditions are far too dry and not right for a sulcata. Please read these:

Babies have a small margin of error. Please let us help you get things set up the right way before it is too late.
