Oh I know that's right. No forum could come close to this one! Great and helpful people!
This is Varanus ornatus, Ornate monitor. It is not considered a Nile (Varanus niloticus). However care for ornatus, niloticus, and salvator are all identical. Please read this care sheet and follow it. Great looking ornatus! :) http://www.vitalexotics.com/water-monitor-black-dragon-care-sheet/
Start with getting a temp gun to measure basking temps (which should be in the 120-130 F range for a juvenile). Also, Humidity should be 75-85%.

Thanks! I know it is a Varanus ornatus but the avg person still don't know what an Ornate monitor is because it was classified as a Nile (Varanus niloticus) for so long. Being that this is a tortoise forum, I listed it as others would see it in pet shops and yes my temps and humidity are on spot. I wasn't asking for help, just the forum info. But thank you for your help and the link. I will check it out! That's what this forum is all about. People helping people.
