They are actually not itty bitty. They were 1inch and are now 5 inch, so they did grow

For being the second smallest tortoise specie in the world, Egyptians have tremendous growth potential in captivity. When hatched they are the size of a quarter and in about 5-6 years females can attain breeding size at 5 inches. Annette, looks like your girls are ready for some male company!

They seem not ready, I have 3 males and i will give all of them another year.

What is the size of your 3 males. Having an alpha male will get things started. My first female to produce fertile eggs was right at the 5 inch mark and the male was relentless.
