My baby horsefield update

My little baby horsefield is doing well. This is my first baby tortoise only 9 days old didn't start eating until 8 days old I was a bit worried but can relax now the first feed was dandelion leafs. Here are some photos for you to look at.

The 1 : 1 ratio for the incubation media is not right for russians, but the rest is all good.

Good news that the little one is eating. I keep mine in a box with moist kitchen towels in the incubator until the yolk sac is absorbed and the platoon is closed but when they are looking bright and active I do move mine to their enclosure.
