Mulch

okay so I have mulch in a bag for my box turtle enclosure and when I poured it in his tank it was already moist..... should I not use it? I mix it with coco fiber dirt and I am adding moss in his tank to keep humidity up.

Mulches and compost are usually a bit moist when sold as it can be hard to get them to soak any water in for plants if they get too dry.

Those of a more cynical nature will also tell you that moist mulch weighs more so they can put less in the sack

It's fine to use. Substrate should be evenly damp.
