Really? Wow wasn't expecting that. I ordered him from Andrew of ATC and was told he was a 1 month old CCB Testudo Hermanni Hermanni with an Est. Hatch date of 11/9/15. He's really not as large as maybe these pictures seem?
Here's his measurement that I took on 4/25/17: 17 Mo. Old; Carapace L4.7", W 3.7", H 2.5" @ 12.17oz
Anyway, his actual age isn't important. I was asking if anyone has thoughts as to his/her sex. That's not even all that important, just curious is all.

You have a hatch date. He's grown well. And you're right appearances were deceptive now I have seen him by a ruler.
There's no real reason for a breeder to lie
He's got a bit more growing to do in my opinion before you can sex accurately. Another couple of inches straight carapace length.
