Yup, they do that here, too.
Actually, several of the later photos are not unusual sights here, either.

Yeah, that one gal is worried about her lungs (wearing a face mask) but then jams herself inside a bus or train with hundreds of other people.

I doubt I would EVER ride on top of the bus or train like that. I'd have to take my chances with the running lava or atomic bomb - whatever I would be running away from. For just regular and not emergency transportation, feet would have to do.

I can't drive down the road with a plank of wood just sticking out of the car window.

I guess we don't realize how lucky we are until we see pictures like this. These are normal, every day occurrences for these folks. To me, it's quite sad.
