Greetings, here's an advertisement for the adoption of a 14" long sulcata from Virginia Reptile Rescue. Looks to have some pyramiding, but not too bad from the one pix that is posted. They will ship if wxr conditions permit - guess that leaves out upstate New Yorkers!

Here's the description of Harper:
  • Harper is a Sulcata tortoise, approx 5-10 years old. 14" long. Needs a home in a WARM location with an outdoor pen for most of the year. This species is primarily a dry grass grazer, and should NOT be given animal protein. They get their nutrients from the grasses they eat. They are very fond of orchard grass, bermuda grass, etc. VERY LITTLE FRUIT, if any, should be offered.
