Is the above the same as something labeled just mazuri?

I ordered it from eBay and have only just thought about this.

Looks like you ordered the wrong item. The one you ordered is for primates.

The Mazuri Company makes all different recipes for many different types of animals. The one you want is actually called Mazuri Tortoise Diet.

Even more confusing is on the big bags of the correct Mazuri is a picture of an iguana, a tortoise and a crocodile.
Do you have a feed store nearby? It'll be the bag with the red label

Mazuri is not allowed to be sold in Europe under the Mazuri name. It is sold under the Nutrazu name. Nutrazu 50J3 - Tortoise diet is the exact product as the Mazuri 52M1

Nothing comes up under the number for Ebay you cited, so not sure what you ordered.

There are a few types of tortoise diet. The "newer" LS is not as well liked by most tortoises. The older, larger pellet, The Mazuri 52M1, Or Nutrazu 50J3 is definitely the preferred type. When you buy from repackagers as on Ebay, it normally does not list the exact type, though most of the time it will say if it is the LS - which you DO NOT want.

Both Mazuri and Nutrazu names are owned by Purina Mills, Licensing does not allow the Mazuri name to be used in Europe.

The one you ordered looks like it is for tortoises; it's made by Mazuri Zoo Foods instead of Mazuri. So it is a different product, but it should be safe.
