hey guys! I'm looking for a Russian tortoise. I currently have one and they will not be homed together. Preferably an adult male. I've been reaching out to rescues, but none have responded so far. Thanks!!

Many petstore Russians are wild caught and much older than you would think.
Personally, I had great luck finding tortoises with a "wanted" ad on my local Craigslist.
It's a good way if you don't mind dealing with a lot of idiots.

I would rather not go through a pet store... and I've checked Craigslist, but haven't seen any ads for Tortoises.
No. I mean place your own ad. (wanted)
When it rains, it pours.
The very last time i placed a wanted ad, I got so many that I was forced to rehome some of them to fellow members. I kept three. Before that one call, not a single response for about 2 months.
