Hi..I'm a new mom to a baby leopard tortoise. I have been trying to get as much info on caring for this little guy. It seems they need more humidity than they do when older. And comparing their care to a red foot baby, to me, it looks very similar if not identical. Is this true? When are they old enough that they do not need a humid environment? Currently he is in a temporary setup..one outside, and one inside for night. Feeding spring mix, and mazuri, and some weeds from the yard. He has a shallow water dish, and hide spots. Substrate is cypress mulch, moistened. Outside he is on cypress mulch, coca soil moistened, and some sphagnum moss with hide spots as well and shade spots.

thanks for any advice/info!

Thank you so much for all the info! I was just surprised at the humidity levels that are posted for my tortoise. It seem identical to what my Dart Frogs are living in. :)
