Just found eggs outside!

So I have recently moved my Russian tortoises to an outdoor enclosure. My female Russian has been very fertile since I got her, I thought she was done laying for this season but she just surprised me with another nest!

Her largest clutch has been 5 eggs well tonight I was caught off guard when I found 6 eggs! Here is the proud mamma getting a nice long drink after her hard work. She will be spoiled with some good leafy greens and a calcium block after.

Awww, she looks exhausted in the first pic all sprawled out. Congrats and they sure like to throw curve balls as soon as you think you have them figured out.
