IVORY SULCATA THREAD: Aladar's Babies! (ULTRA PHOTO HEAVY)

Nice overcast day...85ºF and 32% RH...that means a little extra time outside for the ITs. First up, a little cactus!

The pad didn't interest them much!


So I processed it...this one came up high in water!


IT-1 got down to business immediately!


IT-2 turns down a lot of things...but cactus ain't one of 'em!


IT-3 is kinda hit and run...through the pile!


Now! I mentioned that IT-3 is the finickiest eater I've EVER seen! But, he loves three things...A LOT...cactus, black medic and grass shoots! This blade of grass is longer than he is. I try to cut 'em short but he got this and it was about half way down! Kinda reminds me of Gene Simmons!


IT-3 is wandering aimlessly through the yard!


And IT-1 is ready to call it a day!



and IT-2 has one more crack at the cactus before returning to the chamber!

Late afternoon...the ITs check out some mulberry...

IT-1 stands lookout!


IT-2 shows some interest...but not much!


IT-3 saw it as a source of shade...thought about taking a nibble...then passed!

Took the ITs out as soon as I got home this morning...they headed right to the marsh!

IT-1 marches around...neither feeding nor drinking

IT-2 seeks out the clover

IT-3 is thirsty!

And while IT-1 and IT-3 make their way out of the marsh...

IT-2 decides to hang out and mug for the camera

I get that once in a blue moon! BTW...they are all a hair over 2.5" and their weights...

IT-1: 65 grams
IT-2: 47 grams
IT-3: 61 grams

Nothing to worry about here...IT-2 will not eat Mazuri for the life of him...but he goes nuts over cactus...and all types of grass and weeds!

This morning...IT-1 and IT-2 found the mudhole...a first!

IT-1 wasted no time settling in...and splashing mud on his sides!


IT-2 spent some time 'reflecting'...

...followed (an hour later) by a rare morning swimming lesson...

IT-1 taking it easy!


IT-2 swimming in reverse...actually just flowing with the current in the pool!


...and IT-3 surfaces...and takes a breath!

Not likely! Sulcata weigh less in water until around 15 pounds...at least thats been my experience!

This is hilarious! I let the ITs roam in an overgrown area of the yard...and found IT-1 and IT-3 laying in the grass...on their sides! These first two shots I took standing up, pointing straight down at them!

...and IT-2 seems bored of the whole thing!
