Hi Ahmed, and welcome to the Forum! Your tortoises look great. Do you know how old they are? I know that Egyptians are a small species, so I was just wondering if they're full grown.

i have an enclosure in the balcony because in Egypt we have sun all over the year , so i don't need UV lamp or even heaters except in the period from the middle of December to the middle of January they really needs a heater , they have fresh water every day and fresh food (dandelion , salad rocket , chicory , lettuce ) and fish bone
with sand and peat moss soil mixture as a bedding/ substrate ' and they have a bath every weekend by a warm water only .

Thank you for your reply~ Looks like you take a very good care of them. How wonderful.

Will love to see more picture of them, they are so beautiful and different in size compare with other tortoises.

Those are some good looking torts:) I haven't seen that many Egyptian Tortoises.
ten years ago the testudo kleinmanni were every where in egypt but now we hardly found one in pets shop , all they have now is testudo graeca , but we could find some on the north west coast of egypt where they lives .

Murhubba , Ahmed . Lovely to see more Arab Tortoise lovers. Yours are indeed very beautiful. Mine are Greeks but they do very well here in the Gulf.
