I found my tortoise nibbling on this plant
it has purple flower (he ate the flower beforw i could take any picture)

Hard to tell, but it looks similar to a violet, which is edible.

Looks like a violet to me also but they don't grow wild where I am so I'm not that familiar with them. Did the flower look like this? Five petals, on a skinny stem?
