Is this a good Russian Tort substrate?

Hey all.

I was just wondering if my substrate mix is good.


Eco-earth
Repti-bark
Calcium sand (mixed in very well)
Dried sphagnum moss (as a topper)

I don't like the reptibark. The pieces are too big for my liking. I also don't like to use sand at all. Plus, I'm not a big fan of the coconut coir.

What you have described is perfectly fine, and lots of people use that combination. There's really nothing wrong with it, it just doesn't suit my fancy.

I'm glad that everyone has their own cup of tea, as if everyone thought the same thing, it would be boring.
