is there a way without grass?

is there a way to have a tortoise with no grass on its diet? is there an alternative or someting for people who dont have acces to it?

You have a Sulcata. It needs grass as part of its diet once it stops being a baby. If grass doesn't grow easily then you will need to buy hay and introduce that.

The way to introduce it is to chop some up real small with scissors and mix it with food your tort will eat. Serve the food wet so your tort can't pick the bits it likes out.

i actually don't have a sulcata at the moment, i was about to get one bit someone give a rescued gopherus so i stay with that one for now, this doubt was hypothetical, just a curiosity i have plenty grass for my tortoise, thanks a lot
