I have a 10 month old Chihuahua.
She was at the vet last week for some ear medication on Wednesday.
On Friday I noticed that her "Female area" is swollen looking and maybe 2 or 3 times it's original size. There is no blood, but I'm thinking maybe she is sexually mature now?
She seems to be in no distress at all about it.
The information I have is from the internet.
I was about to make an emergency vet call.
(I have very little experience with female dogs.)

Yes that sounds typical of a female in heat. They won't bleed much especially smaller breeds. The swelling is a dead giveaway.

Once all is set and done it will go down to what it was before her heat.
