hi all
I'm a new member on here but have kept a variety of torts all my life - I simply love em lol! just got 2 five month old Horsfields a week ago and despite setting them up exactly as their former "mum" did they only picked at their food once on the evening I brought them home then nothing! I keep offering them a leafy weed/romaine diet but they just bury in the corner and sleep! worried now! any more ideas about what I can try please?

Are they housed together? Please post a pic of your enclosure to.

The usual cause of inactivity is temperature.

There are 4 important temperatures- directly under the basking lamp, warm side, cool side and overnight minimum.

You need to know these accurately. What temperatures do you have?
