As some of you may know, a few weeks ago I purchased a Greek tortoise from my job. His sweet personality really shined through to me and I just needed to have him.
However, it has been quite the roller coaster ride. Within the first two weeks of ownership, Darwin was showing symptoms of an URI. I warmed up his habitat about 5° and gave the vet a call.
After x-rays, the vet diagnosed him with a small case of pneumonia. She prescribed me some Orbax to administer orally.
He seems to be getting better, his nose still slightly running and bubbling at times but he is much more active.
I took him out today to get a little exercise, as he was digging at the corners, and realized I've never introduced him to you all yet! He didn't seem to mind the camera at all and kept trying to leave the "photo-shoot".
Anyways, enough of my blabbering...Here's Darwin!
A few cracks, but the vet said it was nothing to be worried about.
Thanks for looking!
