How does box turtle keeping work in Georgia? Do you have a permit to keep them?
My dad does, He is the boxies primary owner. This boxie is a rescue
This boxie was hit by a car on a highway and we saved it and acquired a permit
The other three were hatched in my backyard and I wanted to help them get a head start
And that's how I got into keeping tortoises 
My understanding was that permits couldn't be issued for things like this and that only educational exhibition permits were issued for box turtles in Georgia. Do you have to put in a certain number of hours in educational demos with the turtles each year?

So it's your Dads? I'm just curious here,How old are you and what's your experience? Profile says 30, but since you keep giving advice on turtles I would just like to know.
