I feel that at least once a week, contrary to popular belief tort owners should feed their leos cucumber or a pile of lettuce any except ice berg. This hydration will ensure healthy babies and torts and may save a life or prevent organ damage . let me know your thoughts and if anyone else uses this method. My tort eats like a pig so once a weak i put cucumber or lettuce or opituna out and a generous pile too, this is normally a second snack after the proper meal requirements have been met on the day. Torts wont say no to a cucumber or opituna and if they do THEN THEY'RE WEIRD ::p.

I think most of us soak our babies daily to ensure they're hydrated, plus we keep them in moist/humid conditions. But there's nothing wrong with an occasional treat of cucumber. I use opuntia every other day because of the nutritional qualities.

No i defintley agree. Daily soaks are a must, although just to ensure hydration for those that will only soak their little ones twice a week
