How do I care for box turtles in an outdoor terrarium? (Water, Feeding time, Moisturizing the terrarium, ETC)

you must be very careful to not cook your turtles. The sun shining through glass intensifies.

My baby box turtles that live in a Christmas Tree Storage bin outside are fed daily in the morning. The bin has holes drilled in the bottom and I water the plants in there and wet the substrate daily too. The sun never shines directly on the bin, only mottled shade in the a.m. then full shade in the afternoon.
