Hi! A breed question!

Hi. Hope you're all well! I've recently been given a tortoise by a family member and have fallen immediately in love!

I was wondering if any one would be able to identify his breed as I want to make sure I am caring for him correctly and he has a lovely life.

I've had a look on the internet and it is a minefield! Thank you in advance and even if you can't help, hi!

In the UK the call your tortoise species a "horsfield"tortoise based on the scientific name Testudo horsfieldii. Over here in the US, we call it a Russian or Steppe, tortoise.
