I absolutely love herons, such regal birds. We have a mated pair over the water way in our back yard. Yet I still can't watch this because I am afraid if I click that link I will never set down my iPad again....

Oh it's worth it...this is rare !!! The funny part his how TALL the father is when he stands up and bends over to feed the babies. One more baby is breaking through it's egg now. I believe there will be 3 in the morning :) So neat. I LOVE herons. We have a teenager that visits our pond. Not eating the fish-- but hangs out. I love watching them...and make a wish every time one flies over me :) Enjoy !!
