Hermann enjoys water on head

Discovered something recently while soaking Rhialto and wonder if its a common thing.

I found he loves having water poured onto his head.

During a soak, if I scoop up a cup of water and begin dribbling it onto his shell, he'll poke his head out so I can dribble the water directly on top of his head.
He'll then stretch his neck out fully and move it left and right as if he is working out the kinks out.

Rhialto is a fairly timid tortoise, quick to pull in whenever a hand hovers near - so this method of getting him out is a nice - makes me feel like I'm not such a frightening land-ape.

my sulcata does the same thing......loves to soak; till water begins to cool; and really seems to enjoy water poured on shell and head.
