That's actually a boxing turtle and I'm not very familiar with them.
Very beautiful creature tho :)

Whereabouts are you @jaysie16? It may be native and it may be illegal to make a pet of it.
Im from the Philippines. I found it at my cousins house. I brought it with me because they don't have the time to take care of him/her

FYI If you meant Box turtle, that's not what this is.

Actually it could be some type after blowing up the picture I can't tell if the feet are webbed

There are some box turtles in the Phillies but most are endangered. Well pretty much all. I'm not very familiar with Asians terrestrial turtles.

The stripes on the head could help identify it tho :D

It kind of looks like an amboina box turtle

Maybe a pond turtle? No clue wait till a expert comes.

I'm not that familiar with the Asian turtles - I assume Geoemydidae family, but could even be wrong there. Where did you find it? If in the wild, just return it to where you found it.

He/she was being sold illegaly. Thats why my cousin bought it out of pity but she cant take care of it so i brought it with me.
