You should be aware that most breeders start sulcatas way too dry. Read those threads that Tidgy's Dad posted for you for the correct care info that will help your new baby thrive and survive. These are not desert tortoises. In the wild they hatch at the start of the rainy season, and those hot, wet, humid conditions are what they thrive in. Think New Orleans or South Florida in July...
