My nearly 3 month old Eastern Hermanns hatchling fell over in his water dish and I found him upside down in poo ridden water. I quickly righted him, dried him off, and put him under his heat. His eyes where open and he was moving around, the only odd behavior was his throat seemed to be expanding and contracting a bit rapidly. The water dish I was using was a little deep, but I had rocks in to help give stability and traction; I'm switching to terra cotta saucers ASAP. My question is, will he be ok? What should I look for that would tell me he's not ok? Should I forgo his daily soak tomorrow given that I have no idea how long he was upside down in his bowl? Thanks everyone!

He's probably fine. This is a common thing.

Its less likely with the terra cotta saucers.
