Growing weeds

I have some hawksbeard in my backyard and I want to transplant it into my tortoise 's enclosure how should I do that also how do you propogate weeds

You want to move it to the outdoor enclosure? If yes then just dig it out with some of the soil stuck to the roots, dig a hole in the enclosure, plant it there, water for a good start and you are ready.

I will try that thanks but whenever I try that I remove the soil

When you remove the soil it will work too but takes more time for the plant to start growing again.

I just cut it and feed it to the tortoises. If left where the plant first took root, they will usually keep growing back again and again for multiple harvests.

To propagate, I let them go to seed and then put the seeds where I want more of that plant. I have mallow growing all over the ranch now from this practice.

Weeds have, what most people consider, an annoying habit of propagating themselves
To us tortoise lovers, it's usually a joy
