Foot Powder for Fuzzy Eggs?

Many years ago it was common practice among gecko breeders to sprinkle a bit of athlete's foot powder onto eggs that showed any mold or suspicious fuzzy growth. Is this a method used by tort breeders? I don't have any eggs, fuzzy or otherwise, but was just curious. For future reference, I guess. Thanks in advance!

Interesting. I have never heard that and have never seen anyone post about it on the forum. Will be interesting to see if anyone has heard this for tort eggs or used it.

Never heard of this method either--interesting. Although I would point out that fuzzy eggs almost invariably mean they have expired.

That's what I had thought but not enough experience with having eggs to know for sure. Although, none of mine ever got a fuzz on them
