Hi Yvonne G!Hi, and welcome to the Forum!
Thank youHi and Welcome!
Hi Tidgy's Dad!Hello, and a very warm welcome to Tortoise Forum to you and the lovely Ume and Sakura.
I worked at a Japanese school here for a bit (teaching English) and the school was called "Sakura".
Cherry blossom ? With a deeper meaning in the culture ?
And the other one would thus be plum blossom. (had to google that, though).
Beautiful names.
No, it was a Japanese school in Morocco, opened by a friend of mine to whom I had taught English but is Moroccan who studied Japanese at universityHi Tidgy's Dad!
Wow! I live in Tokyo.
Did you go to Tokyo?
I wish that the stay in Japan was good experience for you.
Sakura means cherry blossom, spring, and passing an exam in Japan.
Ume is Japanese apricot blossom!
Both blossom are very beautiful.
We really appreciate your praise!
