The adult radiata enjoyed the warm temps yesterday and will officially be outdoors until October this Monday. Nothing beats seeing them outside in the sun.
Yvonne, I find them to be very hardy and adaptable to a variety of situations. I've also found them to surprisingly cold tolerant to an extent. I will leave ours outside even when the nighttime temperatures drop into the mid to high 40s which is rare in the summer but happens in the spring sometimes. They don't miss a beat. They, like all our species have heated shelters and do make good use out of them. They'll cruise around and graze in daytime temps that are as low as 60F.
