Ok so I just wanted some help picking out a feeding schedule. Right now I usually just rip up som grasses and weeds and clover or rose leaves from outside and put it in his enclosure. Also I was wondering why I can't feed him spinach, and what I can feed him to give him a well rounded diet. I live in north east Texas if that helps

Check out the tortoisetable.org for many edible items. You can add dark leafy greens from the supermarket to switch things up.

Spinach binds calcium so the body can't use it, so its not a good food item to feed all the time...occasionally is quite ok.

Mulberry leaves, hibiscus leaves and collard greens are the ones i use for calcium boosts.
