Edible Wild Weeds and Flowers in Florida

Any Florida folks (or anyone that would know for that matter) know of some good edible weeds and wildflowers that grow wild in Florida? I've looked everywhere for dandelions, but I can't find any. Must either be the heat or the soil that is too sandy. If anyone has any dandelion seeds let me know! Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Hi, I'm down here in South Florida and have let my 3yo redfoot graze in the yard and eat the weeds that naturally grow with no obvious problems. I can't find dandelions down here either. I brough some seeds back from Colorado a couple summers ago and planted them in the outdoor enclosure. Nothing grew. Next time I'm in Colorado when the seeds are prevlent, I'll try again.
