Since his growth spurt started a few weeks ago I have been weighing him weekly and he is now just few grams short of the 2 pound mark at almost 20 months old.

Also celebrating the fact that he did not poop in the sink during his weekly long soak/scrub/check-up.

A tasty salad consisting of fresh and dried grasses, fresh and dried hibiscus leaves, a few bits of aloe and spring mix and a nice juicy chunk of opuntia fruit all tossed in a little Mazuri mush.

(He held on to that piece of grass for his entire bath :D )

It was a feeding frenzy. He is down there literally trying to lick his dish clean.

He probably weighs two pounds now :p

Has his shell darkened in color a bit as he's aged or is that the light? Either way, he seems to be getting even cuter! ;)

His skin is definitely darker, but that is the embedded dirt due to his zeal for constantly increasing the size of his new self-dug burrow now that he has the space and depth to have some fun with it. :D
