two of my cherry heads have dry shells, i keep the humidity at 89% and spray them about 6-8 times a day, also give them soaks. I've had these two since December and have been doing this since i got them but they never seem to get better. is there something I'm missing or doing wrong? i was wondering if there was something i should add to these two routine. any help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean by dry shell? Keratin is a dead material, if it's wet or dry only depends on the humidity.
Maybe the surface of their shells is scratched and not so shiny as the others?

the shells don't need to be wet if your humidity is alright then your fine

just because your humidity is high doesn't mean your tort should be wet ;)

In my opinion I think he looks great!
Do you have hard water in your area? I was thinking it's just hard water build up that turns whitish.

Let's see what others say.
