Dry Mazuri LS?

I sprinkled some small dry pieces of Mazuri LS on my Russian torts food is this ok?

Little cheap electric coffee grinders are great for turning most things to powder in small amounts.

I always wet it first. For some reason, I have this picture in my mind of a tortoise eating the dry pellets, then the pellets swelling up in his stomach absorbing all the stomach juices. Probably not harmful, but I don't like the picture.

Ok I'm gonna start wetting it, because that sounds painful!

None of mine will eat it plain, wet or dry. If yours will, that is good.

What else are you feeding him?

What else are you feeding him?

Well my Russian eats if all, dandelion hibiscus, romain, kale, red leaf, green leaf, radicchio (one of her favorites) various flowers and weeds
