Dry Mazuri LS?

I sprinkled some small dry pieces of Mazuri LS on my Russian torts food is this ok?

Sure. If you have a tortoise that will eat the LS, dry is fine. Just make sure that water is available to the tortoise.

The regular Mazuri can be pulverized into a powder. The LS ..just smaller peices.

I always wet it first. For some reason, I have this picture in my mind of a tortoise eating the dry pellets, then the pellets swelling up in his stomach absorbing all the stomach juices. Probably not harmful, but I don't like the picture.

Ok I'm gonna start wetting it, because that sounds painful!

None of mine will eat it plain, wet or dry. If yours will, that is good.

Well my Russian eats if all, dandelion hibiscus, romain, kale, red leaf, green leaf, radicchio (one of her favorites) various flowers and weeds
