Dozer a girl?

Hi everyone. I let my 2 yr old sully Dozer to play with my 12 yr old sully, Sulki. Sulki is a male and became very excited that Dozer was outside. He started humping a rock Dozer was next to. Is this just dominance or is Dozer a girl?

Not necessarily. Sometimes a male that has never been with a female, just seeing another tortoise stimulates the breeding instinct.
