Can anyone tellme about my indian star tortoise's diet and also about do's and don't's. I also want to know what is healthy for him and whats not.
My tortoise loved eating the ladyfinger but now he doesn't likes that.
Now a days he is eating tomatoes, cucumber, corns n also he is soo much attracted to chocolates nd muffins.
Can someone also tellme his exact age through picture?IMG_20170705_191828_436.jpg

Hi, you won't be able to know the exact age unless you know the hatch date. Please do not feed him chocolate or muffins. That isn't healthy for torties. Very beautiful tort:tort::<3:

Hello, and a very warm welcome to Tortoise Forum. :)
Tortoises grow at greatly varying rates depending on many factors, so it's impossible to give an exact age, i'm afraid.

Here is a thread of what to feed. I typed this for sulcatas, so use a little less emphasis on grass for stars. Scroll down to the food list for lots of suggestions: http://www.tortoiseforum.org/threads/for-those-who-have-a-young-sulcata.76744/

They need a high fiber, high calcium diet. If you keep feeding cucumber, tomato and corn, your tortoise is not going to live for very long.

Please read these for proper care info. Care for stars is identical to care for leopards and sulcatas:
