I have recently let my russian tortoise go outside because of the great weather changes, he seems to sometimes eat the clovers but mainly just wants to eat the brown dead leafs.. I always move him away form them..but he just goes right back to them =/ Is it ok for him to eat these? he sure like them!

thanks!

Hello Chris

Hermy does the same thing. Since I dont know if it is safe or not, I always keep an eye on her.

everything i've read backs up RTfanatic. as long as the leaves are tort-safe...dry or fresh shouldn't matter.
