The camera was acting right today so here are a few pics of one of the ( void of hardly any red, etc. ) Brazilian yearlings. [ some "over-flash" on 2 of them ]

This is the extent of the color on this one..



He hatched in late April 2013.. right at 3.25" SCL..



An example - of the results of raising a hatchling by the "Turtletary Caresheet" .. ( gotta call it somethin' ) ..



And last but not least.. for those of you that like the BIG bites - dandelion.. American violets -

and here is " Rudy" an adult CH...very dark! ....



She produces dark babies as well ....





Now you really want to see dark.....How about this plastron shot of one of my adult males ...."almost solid black"
