Can you find American box turtles in CO

I live in Colorado and I think it would be cool if I could see a wild box turtle in a pond near me in early spring or fall

Do you realize to tell you something like that on the Internet even if I knew the answer, there would be a box turtle in the area in a week . People would flock there and collect them all ! But good luck with your search!

Yes, you can. The desert box turtle is native to Colorado.
