Bump on neck / diet

hello. My baby tortoise is barely about to become 2 months old, but just recently I noticed this bump on her neck, does anyone know what this is. It is sort of white looking. Also, her diet has only consisted of romaine lettuce, as I am afraid to feed her anything else. Although, I'm quite sure she can't be getting all her nutrients from that. Is there anything else I could feed her as well? I know any types of greens

I don't anything about the bump, but you need to add variety to her diet. There is diet information in the species specific sections of the forum.

I don't now what that is on the neck, could be an abscess or a bite, but I'm just guessing.
A vet visit may be wise and if you do, make sure you go to a recognized herp vet as often the ordinary cat or dog type of vet can be worse than useless.

Your baby is going to get sick and die if you don't change the diet immediately. Choose items from the lists shown in the links Tidgy's Dad gave you. You don't have to give him all of them at once. Just choose two or three this week, then two or three others next week, etc. And be sure to put a little pinch of calcium powder on the food about three times a week.

Would that explain why my baby is barely active? I figured it was just because they sleep a lot when little. She has her eyes closed most of the time. She gets soaked everyday and the temperatures are correct. I thought everything was going normal

I have to wake her up in order to eat or else she won't. It will take her awhile to open her eyes

How is your little tort doing?? I think her home is too small. She's not really able to get a hot and cool end. Also there's no water available for her, or anything for her to do.....no rocks to climb over etc. Just afew ideas.

Shes doing just fine! She's starting to be more active and eating a whole lot more!
