Bubbles!

Does the title of this thread refer to the fact that there are bubbles coming out of your tortoises mouth? If so, he is not scared and stressed, he is sick.

No bubbles from mouth only nose...that too only in the morning when he wakes up.. the rest of the time he is active

Bubbles from a tort's nose are always bad news.

The only time when they're not is when it happens straight after a soak.

As for stress the signs vary. A tortoise may stop eating, lose weight, become sick, spend a lot of time hiding or spend a lot of time climbing and trying to get out
