Here are some pics of our box turtle habitat.
It is 14' by 5'.
Has 2 soaking areas made of unused oil pans.
About 6' by 3' is occupied by an old salad bar tray from a closed restaurant. We drilled holes to allow rain to drain.
The top is made of 4 hinged panels with chicken wire.
The outer perimeter is landscaping timbers, 3 high. We also sunk 7" stones along perimeter.
This spot seems perfect for afternoon sun and shade the rest of the day.
From smallest to biggest, we have Bob, Roux, and Nessie!
