big tex keeps on flipping over.

I have a plastic dish bin from WalMart that i had my mom tape over so he wouldn't see out of it. He keeps on trying to climb inside of it and flips over.

if i haven't seen him for a while i check and 3 times now he's been on his back.

I don't understand what you mean by plastic dish bin and climbing inside of it and flipping? What are you using it for?

Is the dish bin his enclosure? Water dish? Soak Tub? I'm not sure I understand either.

oops sorry, yes it is his hide in his enclosure.

what else can I use that he wont flip on?

It sounds like it must be really big for him to be able to climb up the walls. A hide should be pretty small.

I'm still a little confused. I wonder if something with straight sides like a box (but not cardboard for humid environments) might solve the issue?

You can also pile up the substrate over the dish bin to make it more cave-like. that way he can only fall off the front where the door is.

sorry I am leaving for work that's the best I could do. The problem is in the inside on the corner. There had been a bump he built up o hadn't noticed, I flattened it out and am hoping that helps.
